Jana Kossaibati, a 19 year old medical student, is the author of Hijab Style blog, which was recently featured in The Guardian. Having come across plenty of mainstream fashion websites, Jana sought to present a useful resource specifically geared towards women wearing hijab in the UK. She started blogging in September 2007 with the aim of helping Muslim women create modest outfits from high street clothing shops, without having to sacrifice their sense of style. Her blog also covers Islamic fashion shows and Muslim clothing designers, showcasing the way hijab is worn across the world, from Turkey to Malaysia to Dubai.
