Egyptian Newspaper’s Photoshop Disaster
We have seen a fair amount of rather embarrassing Photoshop blunders in the past, from oil spills
to race changes
. The Egyptian newspaper Al Ahram has been scrutinised after manipulating an image suggesting that President Hosni Mubarak was leading the Middle East peace talks at the White House.
And here’s the original image taken by a White House photographer
The printing of the photograph above coincided with the arrival of Mahmoud Abbas and Benjamin Netanyahu in Sharm Al-Sheikh for the second round of talks under the current peace process. The newspaper has since replaced the images on their website. Oops.
