Win tickets to 'The Deep' exhibition
Issue 100
The United Nations declared 2010 to be the International Year of Biodiversity. With the huge success of our Eco-Jihad issue last summer (Issue 57), emel proudly presents The Eco-Jihad Water Special which looks at key environmental issues surrounding the earth’s waters.
To tie in with this issue, emel is offering a chance to win tickets to a range of exciting and revealing exhibitions and events going on across the country. Look out for various competitions in the magazine as well as online, exclusively for emel readers, over the coming months for your chance to win one of these fantastic prizes.
Our first competition is in collaboration with The Natural History Museum’s ‘The Deep’ exhibition (open now).
Plunge into the abyss and enter a weird and wonderful world, 11,000 metres down in the ocean, an area less explored than the moon’s surface. The exhibition offers visitors the chance to see rare specimens from shimmering jellyfish and scary angler fish to giant spider crabs and colossal squid.
For the chance to win a pair of tickets*, answer the following question -
The world has five oceans -
The Arctic Ocean, The Atlantic Ocean, The Indian Ocean, The Southern Ocean
Name the missing ocean
Send your answers to info@emel.com (FAO: The Deep Competition), including your name and contact details.
Closing date is 5pm on Wednesday 14th July 2010.
Good luck!
