Sea Life Centre Competition - Win family tickets to visit
Issue 100
We have another great new competition lined up to tie in with our latest eco-jihad issue. We are offering family complimentary tickets that will allow you to visit any one of 14 UK SeaLife Centre's and Sanctuaries for free. The tickets will allow two adults and two children free admission to the venues.
The Sea Life network has been steadily pushing back display technology barriers for 30 years. The result is a spectacular attraction in which visitors feel themselves immersed in the marine environment...rather than mere spectators.
Gone are the gallery-style collections of oblong tanks, and in their place displays of all shapes and sizes...offering astonishingly close views of an array of creatures through windows which are flat, curved and even bubble-shaped.
The creatures themselves enjoy optimum water quality, expert husbandry and surrounds which carefully mimic their preferred natural habitats.
Only species which have been proven to flourish in such surrounds are kept...but these include sufficient variety to convey a real impression of the wealth and diversity of life in our oceans.
Increasing awareness of the importance of safeguarding the seas and their inhabitants is an integral element of the Sea Life experience, and the company's marine experts are actively involved in a wide range of research, rescue and conservation endeavours.
The Sanctuaries are best known for their busy rescue and rehabilitation programmes for abandoned, injured and sickly seal pups, but also offer a range of other activities and attractions.
To be in the chance of winning, please answer the following question -
How many SeaLife Centre's (including sanctuaries) are there in the UK?
email your responses to info@emel.com, followed by your name, address and telephone number.
Closing date is 5pm on Wednesday 14th July 2010.
(P.S - We're still taking in entries for 'The Deep' exhibition. Check it out here )
